Dress Code
GIRLS
• Any logo that appears on the clothing must not be any more than 2"x2"
• Black/Blue/Tan jumper, skorts or skirts (biking-style shorts need be worn under the jumpers and skirts to ensure modesty)
• Black/Blue/Tan uniform shorts or pants. Sweatpants, jeggings, leggings by themselves, and yoga pants are not allowed.
• Plain Black, Blue, Red (any shade) or White polo/collared shirt (short or long-sleeved)
• Plain Black, Blue, Red, (any shade) White, or Kairos sweatshirt or sweater* Dress Code compliant polo/collared shirt MUST be worn underneath the sweater/sweatshirt
• Kairos sweater can be worn any day
• KPSVA t-shirt and/or unripped (holes, fringed, etc.) blue or black jeans may be worn on Fridays.
• Collared “Polo” style solid color dresses are allowed (biking-style shorts need to be worn under the dress)
• Shoes with closed toe and closed heel
• Skorts, shorts, and jumpers must be no more than 3” above the knee
• Wearing of bandanas is not allowed
BOYS

• Plain Black, Blue, Red (any shade) or white collared shirt (short or long-sleeved)
• Plain Black, Blue, Red (any shade), White, or Kairos sweatshirt or sweater*
• Kairos sweater can be worn any day
• KPSVA t-shirt and/or unripped (holes, fringed, etc.) blue or black jeans may be worn on Fridays.

ADDITIONALLY:

Pullover sweatshirts must be PLAIN black, blue, red, or white or be a Kairos sweatshirt The exception to this is that Colleges/Universities and Sports Teams on pullover sweatshirts are allowed to be any color and may have logos larger than 2 X 2. These are the only exceptions.

Pullover sweatshirts that only advertise an athletic brand, such as Champion or Nike, are NOT allowed, unless the logo is 2 X 2 or less.

Dress Code compliant polo/collared shirts MUST be worn under the sweatshirt.

*Full-front zippered sweatshirts (zipper from neck to waist) do not need to be plain black, blue, red, or white, as they are considered “jackets.” Dress Code compliant polo/collared shirts MUST be worn under the full-zippered sweatshirt.

Non-compliant shirts/sweatshirts may not be turned inside-out to comply with the Dress Code

Patterned long or short sleeve shirts (ex.: plaid) are not considered jackets and are not allowed to be worn.

Clothing is to be appropriately worn as intended and not allowed to be wrapped around the waist or around any other part of the body.

STUDENTS WHO EARN FREE DRESS PASSES MUST WEAR THE STICKER (ELEMENTARY SCHOOL) ON THEIR CHEST OR WRISTBAND (MIDDLE SCHOOL) THE FRIDAY THAT THEY ARE IN “FREE DRESS.” FREE DRESS PASSES ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON FRIDAYS.

“FREE DRESS” EXPECTATIONS: NO HOLES IN CLOTHING, ALL SHIRTS MUST HAVE SLEEVES (NO HOLES), NO TANK TOPS/SPAGHETTI-STRAP TOPS, SHORTS MUST STILL BE NO MORE THAN 3” ABOVE THE KNEE, GRAPHICS/WORDING ON SHIRTS MUST BE SCHOOL-APPROPRIATE.
